Thank you for making it here...

Is it time to try out or return to therapy? Whatever your reasons are, you are one step closer.  Sometimes, we may have most of our needs met and we still feel stuck in cycles of stress, anxiety, depression, fear, sadness, and loneliness.  We look at photos from the years passed and noticed we're still in the same occupation we don't like, get in the same arguments with the same people or feel like something is wrong with us.

Other times, stressful jobs and relationships, parenthood, or traumatic events can happen to us and we're not quite our "self" and might have thoughts of not wanting to live or suicidal ideations.  Perhaps this is a normal process of being human, with a spectrum of emotions and a full nervous system and we need some help to adjust or learn skills rebalance our life.

And you don't need to do it alone.

As an Asian therapist, I love supporting people from all backgrounds and gender identity grow into who they already are, deep inside.  I was trained in many healing methods in my 15 years of studying, training, and practicing psychology. I've found that a combination of knowing and reclaiming our personal and collective story, giving voice to our inner world and body sensations, combining it with neuroscience and mindfulness has the potential to support us integrate our body, mind, and spirit; leading to a more nourishing and fulfilling life. If any of this resonates with you, let's connect. Contact me to schedule a FREE 15 minute consultation. Thanks for being here.

The lotus flower

is the national flower of Vietnam, a beautiful country with a painful history.  As human beings, we are wired to avoid and/or forget uncomfortable and painful memories, but what if remembering is a needed ingredient in order to let go and heal? The symbol of the lotus has been embedded in spirituality, especially in the Buddhist communities for thousands of years. Although the environments may seem unfavorable, a beautiful lotus flower blooms from the stench of the mud. The lotus flower is a symbol of inspiration and hope. Although we don't ask for difficulty, sometimes our difficult human experience can lead to the blooming into our true self. I weave ancient wisdoms from Buddhist psychology with western psychology and neuroscience to support with healing and growth. However, our relationship is most important in our journey together. I'm inspired to share the healing gems and gifts with you from many teachers and mentors I received along the way.
